
Had a tough time surfing the first time in San Juan. All your orifices get filled with salty water, your chest feels itchy with the wax from the surfboard, and your abs (or whatever is left of it) begins to ache like you just had a quickie in a water cage. So, its no wonder that surfing was less, and scouting was more. Scouting for good pictures that is.
Although most of my pictures that day were covered with two-piece bikinis (I am in the quarter-life crisis, remember? What else were you expecting?) my most favorite pic of the day turned out to be the one above. The beach cuts a ravaging, yet welcoming look, while the two surfers ended up in an almost symmetrical 'X' with their surfboards. Symbolically, 'danger marks the spot'.
